How Spider Drops handles your personal information

Spider Drops collects what it needs to take your order, ship it and answer your emails. Below is the full list: what we keep, who else gets a piece of it, and how to have it copied or deleted.

Last updated: November 1, 2026. Spider Drops is operated by BIG LUX TOY LLC, Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

The short version

  • Your name, address, email and (optional) phone number are used to process, ship and support your order.
  • Payments go through PayPal. Spider Drops never sees or stores your full card number.
  • Google Analytics, Google Ads and Microsoft Clarity measure how the site is used and which ads lead to sales.
  • Start checkout and leave? You may get up to three reminder emails about that cart.
  • Spider Drops does not sell personal information. One email to [email protected] gets yours copied, fixed or deleted.

What you give us when you order

When you place an order, Spider Drops collects your name, shipping and billing address, email address and, if you choose to add it, a phone number. We also keep the order itself: items, sizes, the price you paid, the shipping method and any note you leave.

There are no customer accounts on Spider Drops. Everyone checks out as a guest, so no password of yours sits on our server.

What the site records on its own

While you browse, Spider Drops automatically logs technical details: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open, the link or ad that brought you here, and how you scroll and click.

Most of this comes from cookies and similar tools listed further down. It shows us which products people actually look at and which ads turn into orders (and which ones only burn money).

Messages, forms and reviews

Write to [email protected], or use the contact form or the order tracking form, and Spider Drops keeps your email address, your message and any order number you include. That is how support finds your order and replies.

The forms check the IP address each message comes from. It works as a spam filter: automated junk gets dropped before it reaches the inbox.

Leave a product review and the name you type plus your review text appear publicly on that product page. Your email address is never displayed.

Why we use it

Spider Drops uses personal information to run the store, and for nothing beyond that:

  • taking payment, packing and shipping your order, and sending order and tracking emails
  • answering questions and handling cancellations, returns, refunds and delivery problems
  • catching fraudulent orders and keeping checkout safe
  • figuring out which pages and ads work, so the ad budget goes where it pays off
  • meeting tax, accounting and other legal duties

Unfinished checkouts

If you type your email into checkout and leave before paying, Spider Drops saves that email together with your cart. The store may then send up to three reminders: about 30 minutes later, after one day and after three days.

Every reminder has an unsubscribe link. Reminders stop as soon as the order is placed, and you can always reply and ask us to delete the saved cart.

Cookies, and how to turn them off

Spider Drops uses cookies for a few separate jobs. Store cookies (WooCommerce) keep your cart and checkout working. A source cookie remembers which link or ad sent you here, so an order is credited to the right channel. Measurement cookies come from Google Analytics, Google Ads and Microsoft Clarity.

When an order goes through, Google Ads may also receive a hashed (scrambled) copy of the checkout email to match the sale to an ad click. Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, which shows us where the layout confuses people; Microsoft explains what Clarity collects.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The cart needs its cookies; everything else can go. Google also offers an Analytics opt-out add-on and ad personalization controls in My Ad Center.

Who else handles your data

Spider Drops passes personal information only to the companies that help run the store, and each one gets only what its job needs:

  • PayPal processes every payment, whether you pay from a PayPal account or with a card. Its use of that data falls under the PayPal Privacy Statement.
  • Our fulfillment partner and the carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx or DHL) receive your name, address and, if a carrier asks for it, your phone number.
  • Our email provider delivers order, shipping and support emails.
  • Google receives page views and purchase events through Analytics and Ads, as described in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Microsoft receives the Clarity usage data mentioned above.
  • Hosting and network providers store the website and its database and keep them online.

Spider Drops ships to U.S. addresses only, but some of these providers process data in other countries. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to stop fraud, or if the business is sold or merged.

How long we keep it

Order records stay for as long as tax and accounting rules require, and while a return, refund or chargeback on that order could still come up.

Support emails and form messages stay in our inbox while they are useful for your order. Saved carts from unfinished checkouts stay in the reminder tool until you ask Spider Drops to remove them.

Analytics and Clarity data follow the retention settings of Google and Microsoft.

Your rights and how to use them

You can ask Spider Drops for a copy of the personal information it holds about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you live in a state with its own privacy law (California, Virginia, Colorado, Texas and a growing list of others), you can also opt out of targeted advertising and appeal a decision you disagree with.

Send the request to [email protected] from the email address on your order, so we know it is really you. We answer within 45 days, normally much sooner, and asking will never change the price or service you get.

A few records can’t be deleted right away (an order we must keep for taxes, for example). If that applies, we’ll tell you which ones and when they go.

Do we sell your data?

No. Spider Drops has never sold personal information and does not plan to.

Some state laws count the ad measurement described above (Google cookies that help show you ads later) as “sharing” for targeted advertising. To switch that off, block third-party cookies in your browser or use the Google controls in the cookies section.

Security

Every page of Spider Drops loads over HTTPS. Card numbers are typed into PayPal’s payment fields and go straight to PayPal, so they never touch our server.

Admin access to the store is limited and protected. No system is perfect, though: if a breach ever affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

Children

Spider Drops is not meant for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.

If you think a child has sent us personal details, email [email protected] and we’ll delete them.
